Kevin Johns is one of Wales' most popular entertainment personalities. Best known for his successful Breakfast Show on 1170 Swansea Sound, Kev is also one of the country's busiest performers. Each morning S.W.Wales enjoys a good laugh courtesy of Kev; his ingrained sense of the absurd and fervent love of comedy has seen his ratings soar.

Over the past 10 years Kevin has provided Swansea Sound with some of its' most memorable moments with live broadcasts from London, Florida and Milan. His most daring on-air stunts have included abseiling from cliffs, and office buildings whilst he has also broadcast from hot-air balloons and gliders. On Sunday mornings he hosts one of the most popular programmes on radio in Wales, 'The Sunday Hotline' whilst Kev can also be heard on Swansea Sound and Valleys Radio presenting Christian music show Heart and Soul. He has twice been honored to receive the Welsh Celebrity Fundraiser of the Year Award from Help the Aged and won the prestigious Andrew Cross Best Programme Award for the radio show 'I know he's out there somewhere.'
Kev has recently finished his eighth pantomime run at the Swansea Grand Theatre playing Dame - Nurse Rhondda in Snow White. It was his 14th Panto season and later this year Kev will be appearing in the Fluellen Theatre Company’s production of the new stage comedy ‘Toshack or Me’. On television in Wales Kev has appeared in the hit BBC Comedy series, 'High Hopes' and recently narrated the four part series ‘The Demolition Men’ on BBC2W. He is one of Wales’ much sort after comperes for stage shows.
He is known to thousands of Swansea City fans for
his pre-match and half time entertainment at the Liberty Stradium
and for entertaining Welsh football fans during half time at Wales’
football Internationals.
Now he combines that passion to spread the good news of the Christian Gospel with his comic ability and presents Comic Belief. In a non-stop whirlwind presentation Kev deals with the issues of forgiveness, being a child of God and that need to put right the mistakes that we make in life. Comic Belief is an ideal way to introduce the Christian message to non-churchgoers at outreach dinners, breakfast meetings, buffets, ladies or mens’ events and Alpha launches.
Comic Belief is also suitable for Church celebrations, dinners and youth events. Recently a successful tour took Kev to Birkenhead, Cardiff, Bridgend, Swansea, Tenby, Cheltenham, Stafford and Pembrey (Llanelli). Kev will tour Comic Belief across the UK from April this year.
