Message - The Bible


 The Bible is the all time best selling book and is the most read book in History. In fact around 50 Bibles are sold every minute thats' almost 1 every second.

People from every part of the world are turning to the Bible and within it's pages are finding answer's to life's toughest questions and problems. Many are turning to the
' Word of God' and find that their lives become more meaningful because of the message contained within the book.

John Thomas, a dear and friend and brother tells a story of a recent religious education class that he took at a local primary school.  He held up a copy of the Bible and asked the children, 'how many books am I holding in my hand?'

'One.... one ..... one  shouted back the children' 'No', replied John. 'Two' shouted one of the youngsters, 'the old and the new testament'.

'No', said John. 'This is a whole library of books. 66 in all. 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.

Wow! 66 books, filled with inspiring stories, songs, poems and messages from the Lord. In the Bible we find prophecies and fulfillment of some of those prophecies
including the the birth, life, death and ressurrection of our Lord and Saviour - The Messiah - Jesus.

Isaiah 8:19

19So why are you trying to find out the future by consulting mediums and psychics? Do not listen to their whisperings and mutterings. Can the living find out the future from the dead? Why not ask your God?


Isaiah 47: 12-14

12"Call out the demon hordes you have worshiped all these years. Ask them to help you strike terror into the hearts of people once again.13You have more than enough advisers, astrologers, and stargazers. Let them stand up and save you from what the future holds.14But they are as useless as dried grass burning in a fire. They cannot even save themselves! You will get no help from them at all. Their hearth is not a place to sit for warmth
